Professional Employment Center for People with Disabilities

Despite the ongoing security tension, Ashdod is committed to supporting its community, particularly people with disabilities. The city focuses on providing meaningful support through a professional center that not only offers employment opportunities but also additional services such as a dental clinic and a community kitchen. The center is an essential part of Ashdod’s strategy to ensure personal and professional growth for its residents with disabilities, while maintaining their well-being and security, even under challenging security conditions.

Professional Employment Center for People with Disabilities

The center operates five days a week. It is part of Ashdod’s employment services for people with disabilities, providing professional and therapeutic support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism aged 21 and older, who are unable to integrate into the open labor market. The center aims to prepare participants for working life, responsibility, and maximum independence, and to prepare them, where possible, for employment in the open market.

The center also includes the “KashT” program (Promoting Equality in Employment), which is responsible for integrating people with disabilities into the open labor market, both in group settings and individual environments.

Fundraising for Renovation and Operation of the Center

We are raising funds for the renovation and operation of the center in order to provide additional tools and daily treatment resources for people with disabilities. Donations will assist in training the staff, upgrading facilities, and expanding the range of services provided to participants, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality. Your contribution will help ensure that the center continues to operate at the highest level and provides equal and dignified opportunities for people with disabilities in the community.
